Karen Conley

Karen has lived in Raleigh for over 30 years. She earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has worked in hotel/restaurant management, governmental and human resource consulting, business management, and real estate. She started her career in real estate over 20 years ago working in multi-family residential development and property management. She took a break from that to work in other fields and raise two children, Alexia and Matthew. Karen is very excited to be working in real estate and assisting buyers and sellers in navigating today’s market. She loves introducing new comers to the area and helping natives find that special home. When not working, Karen enjoys playing tennis, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband, Brian and their children.

My wife Kristin, and I decided to relocate to North Carolina from Pennsylvania in early summer. I first met Karen in May when I decided to pop into a real estate office to inquire about the Raleigh buyer’s market. Karen was on floor duty that day and the rest is history. I should take the time now to mention that I too was a Realtor. That being said, my expectations were extremely high for a Realtor that was going to help us in our buying process. Fortunately, Karen exceeded all of our expectations. Karen displayed patience and attentiveness levels that were nothing short of extraordinary. Because of our buying/relocation situation, we needed a Realtor that we could communicate with easily and often. For instance, as we learned more about areas and neighborhoods we were constantly tweaking our search criteria. Karen provided the constant communication we needed whether through phone, e-mail, or text, and she always had the right answers? Karen must have felt like keeping up with our emails was a full-time job in and of itself! Because of our situation, Kristin and I only had one weekend to view properties and sign a contract. If not for Karen’s professionalism and go-getter attitude, I’m not sure we could have pulled it off! Additionally, we will surely recommend Karen Conley and Coldwell Banker Advantage to anyone in need of professional real estate services.

We wanted to express how pleased we were with Karen Conley’s service. We moved here from Minnesota and the process was longer and more complex than anyone anticipated. I would like to formally acknowledge what a great experience I have had working with Karen Conley over the past few months through the closing of my new home. From every step of the sales process, Karen made me feel like she was sincerely looking out for my best interests and made sure I was getting what I truly needed. Moving to Raleigh from Asheville for a promotion, I was working two jobs at once and selling my old home all while not having a permanent place to stay. Of all the things that were going on, the new home buying process was by far the least stressful and most pleasurable and I owe much of that to Karen. After my home was under contract, Karen really came through and shined. There were many circumstances throughout the closing that were unique and unconventional.
